Executive Team

Tiffany Knaul – Chief Executive Officer

Tiffany has over fourteen years experience in the business and technology consulting industry. She began her career in research and account development for Chicago based SMG Marketing Group, a traditional and interactive marketing firm. She then moved into the IT services industry by accepting a position at Accenture. There she was a business analyst for the high tech and telecommunications industry and eventually moved on to manage the consulting relationships of high-profile clients such as Allstate, Sprint, Verizon, United States Post Office and others.In 2000, Tiffany was recruited by USinternetworking where she played an important role in restructuring the company as it was being taken private. While at USi she quickly moved through the ranks before being tapped to manage the overall relationship with Ariba. As Ariba’s primary consultant, she established and managed a support team of domestic and offshore resources to support 60 plus Ariba clients. Prior to leaving USi, her work with the Ariba practice helped lead to the sale to AT&T in 2006.

In February 2008, Tiffany resigned from her post with USi/AT&T when she acquired a majority interest in Indecon Inc, at which time she assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. In her executive role at Indecon Solutions she will leverage her vast experience in the IT industry to help Indecon better capitalize on its assets while helping position the company for greater growth.

Tiffany graduated with a Marketing Degree from the Richard T Farmer School of Business at Miami University and is known throughout the industry as a thought leader in Application Management Solutions.

Tiffany is active with a number of charities in the Chicago area and currently serves on the Executive Board of Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club. She and her husband and their 2 children reside in Hinsdale, IL.

Mark Jensen – President

Mark has close to 30 years of IT services experience in executive management, new market expansion, delivery, operations and business development. Mark was one of the primary business architects of Software Architects (SARK), one of the most successful IT services organizations of the 1990s and 2000’s. As Chief Operating Officer, he primarily focused on business development, team building, national organic geographic expansion, and the establishment of a national project management office, a strategic alliance team, and a “Centers of Excellence” division. Mark’s primary focus as President of Indecon Solutions is overseeing our plans to expand and grow Indecon Solutions in both new and existing markets.Mark and his wife Cathy live in Chicago, IL.

Michael Valek – Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Michael Valek provides the financial leadership to support Indecon’s continued rapid growth.Michael brings to Indecon more than 21 years of experience and insight in analyzing operations, re-engineering processes and optimizing financial performance. He began his career as a Financial Developmental Rotational Accountant for CNA Financial Corporation before being promoted to Internal Auditor. Michael then worked as Finance Manager of the Americas Technology Practice for Accenture, eventually becoming Program Manager for the Americas Business Integration Partners (BIP) Division.

In 1998, Michael began working at BDO Seidman, LLP, a public accounting and professional services firm that serves private and publicly traded businesses. He served as Chief Financial Officer for BDO’s affiliated company Wavebend Solutions, LLC, where he established the company’s financial strategy, led several acquisitions and completed the sale of the company in 2001. He was promoted to BDO’s Director of Finance, and later, Senior Vice President of BDO’s affiliated company, Trenwith Securities, LLC.

As Senior Vice President of finance and operations at the Hudson Highland Group, Inc., Michael dramatically grew the profitability of its North American technology consulting and staffing business unit from 2006 to 2009. Before joining Indecon, he served as an independent advisor providing strategic financial guidance to both small and large organizations,

Michael holds a BS in Finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He is an active member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Kevin Knaul – Director of Corporate Development

Kevin joined Indecon in 2010 as director of corporate development. With more than 16 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry, much of that time serving in an executive capacity, he brings a deep understanding of macro industry trends. In his role, Kevin is responsible for identifying and pursuing M&A opportunities, recruitment of key executive and management personnel, building effective associations with strategic partners, researching and understanding industry trends and working with the leadership team for effective strategic planning.Prior to joining Indecon, Kevin was an executive consultant providing consulting and solutions services to clients in the technology staffing,
recruitment and consulting industries. Key areas of consulting focus include recruitment and retention strategies, organizational development, process optimization, marketing and public relations, compensation analysis, technology trends, business development, and executive coaching. A seasoned industry expert, his perspective on the IT industry and technology employment trends has been sought by publications such as CIO, InformationWeek, eWeek, The Chicago Tribune, MarketWatch, CareerJournal.com, and Business Talk Radio.Throughout his career, he has been involved with the development and administration of business strategies, operational processes, profitability measures and sales training. Prior to executive consulting, Kevin served as Executive Vice President at Hudson Global Resources where he was responsible for leading the Hudson Global Resources North American IT & Telecom practice towards $150 million in revenue.Kevin joined Hudson from The Allegis Group, where he served as National Sales Manager, responsible for the direction and development of over 200 sales representatives and recruiters. Kevin has served on the executive board of the Information Technology Association of America and was an active member Chicago Chamber of Commerce. He holds a degree in Marketing from Miami University.

Management Team

Steven Fey – Senior Vice President and Managing Director

Steve is responsible for Indecon Solutions Indianapolis office as well as the firm’s regional sales offices which include U.S. locations in the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and West Coast.

Steve has over 22 years of IT experience, consisting of 12 years in management roles and 10 years in technical roles. Steve began his IT career as a programmer for St. Francis Hospitals (Alverno) where he held various roles such as Programmer, Programmer/Analyst and Project Leader. After Averno, Steve began a successful 15 year career in the consulting industry, nine of which were with Indecon. At Indecon, Steve began as a technical consultant and held positions as Project Manager and Account Manager. In March of 2000, Steve joined Fusion Alliance, a software solutions company, as an Account Executive. At Fusion Alliance, Steve held positions of Account Executive, Staff Manager and Recruiting Manager.

Steve rejoined the Indecon team as a Regional Director in March of 2004. As a Regional Director, he was responsible for the overall operations of multiple branches, including branch P&L, local business /sales strategy, managing office personnel (Sales, General & Administration), facilities, capital expenditures and P/L.

In 2006, Steve moved into the role of Executive Director in which he was responsible for the P&L of the enterprise. In November of 2007, Steve assumed the role of President and guided the company through a successful transition to new ownership.

Steve graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Steve is a Principal in the firm and a member of Indecon Solutions Executive Management Team.

He and his wife Marni and their four children live in Indianapolis. Steve volunteers on several youth athletic boards.

Miki Costello – Managing Director

As Managing Director, Miki Costello is responsible for Indecon Solution’s Chicago office. 

Miki joined the team through Indecon’s acquisition of SkilGroup in October 2010, where she was the Vice President of Business Development with SkilGroup, a Chicago-based IT Services firm.

Her career in IT began in 1984. Upon graduating from Illinois State University with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Miki joined Software Architects, at the time a small Chicago-based software development firm. Miki remained at Software Architects for nearly 20 years progressing from programmer to project leader, and then into a business development role. Most of Miki’s efforts at Software Architects were as National Sales Director where she led the company to $100M in revenue, played an instrumental role in the opening of 13 new offices across the nation, and later became the Vice President for the Midwest Region. After Software Architects was sold to Cap Gemini/Sogeti, Miki spent two years as a Vice President of Trustinus, a retained executive search firm.

Miki and her husband, Tony, live in Chicago. Their two daughters are currently attending the University of Illinois.

Ed Haas – Managing Director

Ed is responsible for Indecon Solutions’ Columbus, Ohio office.

Ed is a senior information technology services professional with more than twenty years experience in IT sales, operations, and delivery. In a career spanning more than 20 years he has built a large regional IT services operation with outstanding record of client-satisfaction, operating margins and employee retention. As a Senior Vice President, he opened and developed new geographic operations in Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Tallahassee, and Fort Lauderdale and successfully turned around several under-performing operations.

Most recently, as a Regional Vice President, for Sogeti USA, a division of the Capgemini group, Ed was a member of Global Leadership and USA Operating Committees. He was responsible for services sales and delivery with a $100M+ revenue base for the East region. He led account development and services delivery activities and implemented improvement strategies for sales pipelines, operating margins and delivery excellence across the region.

Ed holds a Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees from Northern Illinois University in Computer Science.

Ed is a member of Indecon Solutions Executive Management Team.

Ed & his wife Wendy live in Columbus. Wendy is an RN with OhioHealth HomeReach. Their two children are alumni of the Ohio State University.

Mark J. Kash – Managing Director

Mark is responsible for leading business development efforts for Indecon Solutions in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Mark began his IT career in the USMC. After receiving his honorable discharge in 1973 he attended Corning Community College, graduating with Program Honors and an AAS in Computer Science and then Rochester Institute of Technology graduating with a BS in Computer Science. Early in his career, Mark was part of the start-up team for USA Today, designing and leading the development team that implemented that newspaper’s first distribution and billing system. Prior to joining Indecon in 1997, to start up the Cincinnati regional operation, he was CIO of Columbia Freestate Health System and then CIO & VP of Operations at Western Ohio Healthcare.

Mark lives in Cincinnati.

Stephanie Wilkinson – Managing Director

Stephanie is the Managing Director for Indecon Solutions’ Richmond, Virginia office (SE Territory).

Stephanie’s career began with a manufacturing company, headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia. Her career evolved into a sales executive position, encompassing four states. In 1997 Stephanie relocated to Richmond, Virginia, advancing her career in the IT staffing business, recruiting and selling for multiple companies. With over 15 years of IT staffing experience, beginning in recruiting then progressing to a sales executive, Stephanie was responsible for new business development and service delivery.

Stephanie began her career with Indecon in 2008 and has been responsible for cultivating and growing client relationships which have led to exponential growth for Indecon’s Richmond branch.

Stephanie and her husband Steve reside in Richmond with their dog Chloe.

Craig King – National Accounts Manager

Craig is responsible for Indecon’s National Accounts. He is located in our Indianapolis office.

Craig’s tenure at Indecon has spanned 28 years. He started in 1982 as a Mainframe Developer with his first assignment at Indiana BCBS. Craig progressed through the ranks at Indecon from Developer, Project Lead, Lead Consultant and in 1992 transitioned to Account Executive. Craig has developed many strong relationships with clients and consultants along the way. Currently his role has him leading and managing national accounts.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University in Mathematics.

Craig and his wife, Pam, live in Plainfield, Indiana and have two adult children.
