CHICAGO – September 15, 2011 – Indecon Solutions, a leading national IT staffing firm, today announced Michael Valek recently joined the company as chief financial officer. Valek will be responsible for financial strategy and operations to support Indecon’s continued rapid growth.  The firm reported a 15-percent compounded annual rate of growth from 2006 to 2010 and made Staffing Industry Analysts’ Fastest Growing Staffing Firms List last month.

Valek brings more than 21 years of experience and insight to Indecon in strategic planning, managing cost structures, allocating capital and maximizing margins. Most recently, Valek served as an independent business advisor to both small and large organizations, providing strategic financial guidance. Previously, he was senior vice president of finance and operations at the Hudson Highland Group, Inc., where he was credited with dramatically growing its North American technology consulting and staffing business unit’s profitability. Before Hudson Highland, he served as director of finance for BDO Seidman, LLP and as senior vice president and CFO for two of its affiliated companies.

Earlier in his career, Valek worked as an internal auditor for CNA Financial Corporation before moving to Accenture as a program manager for the Americas BIP Division. Valek holds a BS in Finance from Illinois State University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. He is an active member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
